Kerry and Nate got the chance to spend a day chasing
Salmon and Trout on the "Big Pond" of Lake
Michigan resulting in a fabulous day of fishing. Doing
battle with 15-20 pound Salmon is a thrill, and an
adventure that is not easily forgotten. Calm waters,
a beautiful sunset, and great friendship topped off
the day.
Throughout
much of the summer and fall Great Lakes Salmon can be
found willing and eager to bite. With a variety of spoons,
flies, and plugs taking a variety of fish including "King" Chinook
Salmon, Coho Salmon, Steelhead, Brown Trout, and Lake
Trout. If you get the chance to tackle a fighting Salmon
on light tackle, it is something that you'll remember
for a lifetime.
