Kerry is a self-taught artist.
His lifelike creations not only demonstrate his woodworking
skills and eye for detail, but also his love for wildlife
and the great outdoors. |
For over 25 years, Kerry’s subjects have included
a variety of waterfowl species, birds of prey, game birds,
song birds and fish. Private collections, nationally
and internationally, hold the fruits of his works.
The entire piece of art is finished
by Kerry, from the initial sculpture and carving of his
specially selected woods, to the final sealing and his
signature. The feathering,
texturing and detailing are all steps Kerry completes to
his personal satisfaction before beginning the painting that
gives life to the work of art.

Each piece demands a
high measure of time for completion, but duplicating
nature so closely wouldn’t be possible without
the additional hours of studies and preparations that
Kerry puts in to assure the final results will reflect
nature’s own beauty. |
Because of his
love for the outdoors, he spends much of his time fishing,
hunting, bird watching and photographing his subjects. Kerry
donates his time and talents to Ducks
Unlimited, The
Ruffed Grouse Society and the other
wildlife organizations each year.
